Green A Studios

Christyn Overstake and Robin Baker as Green A Studios in 2014. They create works that elucidate the human actions causing the current mass extinction crisis as well as the actions being taken to mitigate industrial civilization’s effect on planetary biodiversity.

Christyn Overstake is an artist living and working in the United States. Her background as a certified welder/fabricator in manufacturing informs her material and process decisions, as well as her conceptual and philosophical frameworks. She works primarily in metal foundry and fabrication processes, producing an evolving series of experimental, conceptual objects. She received her BFA in sculpture from Northern Arizona University, and her MFA in sculpture from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. She is currently Assistant Professor of Art at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States.

Baker received his BA in Photojournalism from the University of Kentucky and his MFA in Sculpture form Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. In addition to photography and sculpture Baker also works printmaking and ceramics.
